Well....ummm...how do I say this...first I would like to start off by saying I am not crazy...well maybe a little...but I am pregnant...there it is out there...I had my cerclage put in on Tuesday and I feel really really good! I knew this time was going to be different, and so far I am correct!
As some background for this go around, before I got pregnant Stephen and I went to the Dr and made sure she thought it would be "ok"...if she would have said, "Rachel do not do it", I would have listened to her...but she looked me in the eyes and said "do you want another baby"? and I said yes...and she said it would be ok...She did a couple tests that are new for people that had "issues" in previous pregnancies, and the results came back with a finding! So not to get into to many details, I now take baby asprin everyday to make sure the placenta is functioning properly...and so far by golly, I think it is working! YEEE HAAAWW!!
So this presents a small predicament...I have never been pregnant and working at the same time...I HAVE NO CLOTHES! At my work you have to dress pretty nice, kaki pants and a shirt dont cut it, somedays I feel like I am at an Ann Taylor or Banana Republic fashion show...I try to fit in...but this is going to be difficult with no maternity clothes...and to get non-dorky maternity clothes is VERY expensive...I will keep you posted...I would much rather look like a dork and be going to work everyday than laying on my couch in a moo-moo...
