Well...guess where I am...in the hospital...with Kaylyn...only this time she is the one in the hospital bed. It has been a scary what is now approaching 72 hours. She woke up on Tuesday and said her tummy hurt, 10 minutes later she was barfing and barfing to the point that I was like damn, we have to take her to the emergency room...so we did...and they treated her with a medicine called Zofran, that stops puking...it worked that night so they let us go and told us to give her fluids...she just slept that night and woke up Tuesday barfing again and again, so I decided it was time to go to the Dr...he took one look at her (she wasn't moving or talking at this point) and said she needed IV fluid...so I brought her to the ER and they started an IV about an hour and a half after we got here...her temperature was 104...she was still puking... it was really bad, that is all I can say...like, I would say, Kaylyn, Kaylyn, and she would not look at me, and it would take her a minute to realize that I was talking to her...she had major dehydration...I think she has turned the corner this afternoon, she puked twice today, and now she is pooping her brains out...but her fever is down, and she is talking more...like I said, it has been very scary...I am so glad that I listened to that little voice in my head that was like...take her to the emergency room...I mean with a fever like that and dehydration...it could have been bad had I not brought her in...oh one other thing you might be wondering...when they gave her the IV, she didn't even move...that is how sick she was...my poor baby...hopefully tomorrow she will be even better...
